Christ Church Carrollton

February 27, 2011

Several years ago I attended the Sunday morning services of Trinity Episcopal Church in Dallas on occasion and attended their Trinity After Dark services with some regularity for a short while. Bill Lovell was the pastor of this evangelical Episcopal church.

Last summer, after deciding to make a break from the ECUSA, Bill and a few others from the church started Christ Church Carrollton (a northwest suburb of Dallas). This morning my wife and I visited there. It was really good to see Bill again and the others I had known before. In his sermon Bill made clear what the gospel message is and how it is our responsibility to share the good news.

If anyone reading this in the Carrollton area would like to find a small evangelical Anglican church (in the low church tradition) where Jesus is exalted, the Bible is believed, and the gospel is proclaimed, stop in for a visit.

And if anyone reading this in that area isn’t a Christian and would like to know what we believe and hear it presented in a spirit of grace and love (and not of condemnation), you stop by, too.

Here’s the web site:
