A Christian America?

It’s obvious to anyone paying attention that the United States can be identified as a Christian nation in only the most superficial sense. It seems, however, that we’ve moved beyond mere secular neutrality. Changes in social ethics, established now with the blessings of lawmakers and judges, make it clear that there can be no real neutrality.

Are Christians ready to face the consequences of standing by their convictions? As Peter Leithart writes, “This will force a major adjustment in conservative Christian stance toward America.”
